Golden Door Favourite – Watermelon Juice
This refreshing drink will help you hydrate and cool down in the warmer months. Watermelons are a great source of vitamin C, vitamin A and because of its high levels of L-citrulline this popular summer fruit can help relieve post-exercise muscle soreness.
Serves 4
Ingredients:
6 cups cubed chilled watermelon
500ml coconut water, mineral water or sparkling mineral water
Squeeze of fresh lime
Ice if needed
Method:
Place all ingredients in the blender and blend til smooth.

For added benefits add 1tsp finely grated ginger to benefit from its anti-inflammatory properties
